Join us via Zoom on Thursday, January 14th to hear from Dr. Susan Stewart, who is not only a Professor of Human Resource Management at Western Illinois University-Quad Cities but also a Senior Consulting Psychologist with the Management Resource Group, with a presentation titled, Sexual Harassment Among Gen Z Workers.
The presentation will cover:
Sexual harassment is a topic that has been addressed in training workshops and company
policies for some time. However, much of the focus and research has been on sexual
harassment directed toward adult workers, whereas the specific topic of teenage sexual
harassment is one that needs to be more clearly addressed, especially given the number of
lawsuits now being filed by young workers.
The objectives of this session:
(1) discuss the rights and responsibilities of teenage workers with regards to sexual harassment
(2) focus on the psychological, physical, and behavioral effects on teenage victims
(3) share examples of recent court cases dealing with this issue
(4) generate ideas for future HR/organizational actions to address this phenomenon
