7 Reasons Not to Join SHRM

    Dear HR Professional,

    We've been reflecting on the reasons you haven't become a SHRM member and here is our best guesses:

    1. You’re already a strategic partner and don’t need leading-edge thought leadership to improve retention and morale while lowering expenses.

    2. You never have a question or situation arise that you don’t know the answer to and so wouldn’t need to ever ask SHRM’s HR Knowledge Advisors your specific question.

    3. You have way too much free time at work and so enjoy creating policies from scratch rather than using vetted customizable ones.

    4. You already know every law that Congress will pass in the future and so don’t need legislative alerts or guidance on how to ensure compliance.

    5. You have a huge budget for professional development and so don’t need SHRM’s free webcast series.

    6. You enjoy spending hours looking through Google links for resources that may or may not be reliable. 

    7. You already know everyone there is to know in HR and do not need any additional professional networking resources.

    If the above statements apply to you, then congrats you have it made! If not, JOIN US.

    It could very well be the best money you spend all year.
