One of our most popular annual meetings! Come hear our fabulous speaker, Jill Jensen-Welch of the Dickinson Law Firm.
Participants will receive an informational employment law update on changes in the employment law arena, both in Iowa and nationwide through specific court cases. She will focus on such topics as FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA, GINA, and any other topics (NLRB, DOL, ICRC, etc.) as time permits.
JILL R. JENSEN-WELCH, Esq., SPHR
After working for more than 15 years as a human resource professional at various Des Moines,
Iowa employers, Ms. Jensen-Welch attended Drake University Law School and graduated with
high honors. She is a shareholder in the Des Moines law firm of Dickinson, Mackaman, Tyler &
Hagen, P.C. Jill practices primarily in employment law and litigation. She generally represents
employers and is an author and speaker for human resources and business groups on employment
law-related topics. In 2008 Jill was selected as one of America’s Leading Lawyers for Business,
in the Iowa Labor & Employment Section, by Chambers USA.
