Meals from the Heartland Opportunity

    Meals from the Heartland is an Iowa-based non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization composed of volunteers who package meals for delivery to starving people around the world. A local packaging event will be held in Boone at the Sacred Heart School Gym on November 4, 5 & 6.

    Many businesses have partnered with Meals from the Heartland by taking teams of employees to volunteer in 2 hour shifts at the packaging event, and or raising funds at their workplace. $1 buys 5 meals for starving people in the 3rd world.
